The Paris Games athletes want to support each other

Where’s Waldo? is Antoine Griezmann’s biggest fan at the Olympics, and where are the best Olympians at the Paris Games?

The only person who could be considered for the biggest Olympics fan title would be Antoine Griezmann, who also wears the badges. Due to his commitments with the club, the French soccer player wouldn’t be allowed to play in the Olympics.

If you want to be aware of where the action is happening at any given time, you should follow his X feed, where he issues Alertes Medailles when hardware is won for France. He was described as avoluntary one-man wire service by the New York Times.

The competition will continue for five more days. It’s like aWhere’s Waldo?, like Team USA’s mascot will pop up next.

He’s everywhere — saddling up next to Martha Stewart at the equestrian events in Versailles, Snooping around street skateboarding and fencing, being blown away by Simone Biles’ talent.

The table tennis players returned the favor. The women showed up to Team USA’s practice the next week and were excited to meet the gold medal winning team.

The Ant-Man’s Support to the Women’s Basketball Team at the RHIC Olympic Games, and in their Special Role as Olympians

The team would shut him out in a table tennis game after Curry told him that he bragged about his multi-sport talent. For his part, the Ant-Man thinks he has what it takes to put up at least one point against them.

Anthony Edwards, a charismatic member of Team USA’s basketball squad, went to a table tennis match to support the women’s team last week, enthusiastically cheering on U.S. star Lily Zhang.

The 3-on-4 basketball team had yet to win a game, and the superstars of 5-on-5 basketball came to the half- court to support them. Next day, then James. When he went, King James was blessed with a win from the squad, who turned their game around to eventually clinch a bronze medal this week.

The support from the NBA superstars means a lot to one of the quarter of the women’s roster. “They talk to us, they care about how our team is doing, how we’re doing,” she said. “We always support them and we love to watch them play. To see that reciprocated, it’s great for the game.”

In between their own competitions, and despite the pressure and their busy schedules, many Olympians have made it a priority to show up for their peers at the Paris Games.

The U.S. Men’s Basketball Team Beats Serbia and Will Play for Olympic Gold in the Final : Victor Wembanyama

For nearly all of Thursday’s semifinal game against Serbia, the U.S. lagged behind its opponent, Serbia. Even as the fourth quarter began, the U.S. trailed by 13.

But then Team USA did Team USA things: A Kevin Durant three-pointer amid a collision of bodies. A layup byLebron James. And finally — a Curry three-pointer from the top of the key to reclaim the lead.

The gold medal match from the Tokyo Olympics in which the US beat France is set to happen again. Much of that French team has turned over since, and it now features Victor Wembanyama, the 20-year-old phenom for the San Antonio Spurs whose 7-foot-4 frame and fluidity with the ball made him the most coveted prospect in a generation. He was the league’s leader in blocks and was selected as theRookie of the Year.

France beat Germany 73-69 in its semifinal on Thursday to qualify for the gold medal match. The French have won three Olympic silver medals, but they have never won gold. The US has won all but one gold medal since 1992, the first year that professionals are allowed to participate. The only exception was in 2004, when Argentina won gold and the U.S. settled for bronze.)

Joel Embiid is not afraid to play soccer in Cameroon, nor does the world want to be like that. It’s not gonna happen, but it is going to happen in a safe environment

In a preview of what is sure to be a pro-France crowd on Saturday, U.S. center Joel Embiid was showered with boos every time he touched the ball, as he has been throughout these Olympics.

“I don’t want to put my family through that.” said Embiid, whose family is in Cameroon. “I want them to be safe, and the relationship between France and Cameroon or Africa in general is just not good.”
